I’m Agostino Piccione the Comenius Assistant for this year. I’m from Italy, exactly from a little village close to the city of Taranto in Puglia (South East of Italy). I’m graduated in Modern Literature and also in History. Thanks the European Commission I got this wonderful opportunity to gain educational skills from a different country than mine. I started my assistantship on the 23th of September and it’s going to finish on 6th of June. I’m working with the Elos group and my main tasks consist on helping the group in order to organize students’ exchanges with other European schools, give lessons about Europe and its institutions; furthermore I will arrange a basic course of Italian language and culture for all the students who are going to go to Italy for the exchange with other schools. I like Holland and since I don’t speak Dutch I’m trying to learn it even though it’s very difficult! During my this experience I will try to give an image of Italy looking to go over the good and the bad stereotypes, although some of them are pretty true. What else? Stay tuned.
Ci si vede in giro!
